Managing informal knowledge is one of the most challenging activities, albeit one of the most invaluable. While formalized knowledge usually resides in electronic artifacts, such as documents, CAD models, drawings, etc. a big part of the company's intellectual assets resides in people memory and experience. Finding a way to synthesize and formalize at least part of this knowledge increases considerably the value of company's intellectual assets.

nauba@Knowledge provides a software infrastructure to manage the knowledge management process and to capture, classify and formalize knowledge assets like lessons learned, best practices, engineering rules, process guidelines, past experiences, etc.

• Extensible Knowledge Type tagging
• Multiple classification management, allowing the same piece of knowledge to be found under multiple classification schemes
• Attachment management, taking advantage of the nauba@Documents features, when available
